The “other aspects” certainly has a valid argument, but I don’t see how you can argue they are better co-op games. Rev1 doesn’t even offer co-op outside of Raid Mode, and Rev2’s campaign doesn’t offer online co-op (which is a huuuge downside) as well as the fact that one player is restricted to pointing or shining a light.
Though online play won't be available right away, the game's Raid Mode will support solo play or split-screen co-op, Capcom confirmed. Raid Mode for Resident Evil: Revelations 2 is unlocked out of RE Rev 1 has working online co-op in raid mode, Rev 2 doesn't and yet, it was advertised as if. All it has is a split-screen mode, and it really doesn't take a major in vidya science to figure out how that's a far cry from a proper co-op mode. Noone expected the next-gen sequel would have less co-op options than a 3DS game. . 258 140 100 90 383 242 24 248 47
